Not just another black lab
Bailey is a veterans service dog in training and receives training from the organization The Rescue for PTSD. She's learning to pick things up, notify her owner at night when she hears something since he is sometimes medicated due to pain, she detects when he's in pain and comforts him. When they are in a crowd she will guard in front of him due to the thin skin found on his lower legs that can easily open if bumped into. She also supports him when he's standing up from a sitting position. She's my best friend. Bailey started early learning how to pay it forward
My daddy suffers from severe nerve pain and he's always wanting to help others. He's says giving is the best medicine for pain as he has done a lot of in the past before I came along. I was introduced to it at an early age as you can see me at just five months old on top of this hill of dog food we delivered to Rescued Pets Movement.
